Ireland lose 1-0. Supposedly we dominated the game but conceded a goal on the break. Don Givens seems to be struggling a bit with the U21's.

I honestly can't believe he wont start Hunt, the best striker we have at that level, espically after coming on and getting the all important goal on friday. No wonder we dominaited but couldn't score. We must have better then Givens, even for the U21s, surley? He hardly covered himself in glory in his thankfully brief stint as senior manager either.

As I said on a previous thread, Givens has about as much relationship with a football manager as Osama Bin Laden does with a lap dancer.
(And I really don't relish the thought of putting money in Bin Laden's g-string.)

I've never been a fan of Givens. We really should be doing better than we are with some of the players at his disposal.

givens has publicly slated the team by saying they should be 'ashamed of themselves'. not only was it disrespectful to them but he also call the albania side the 'worst he seen in a long time'.

perhaps man-management and motivation aren't his strongest assets.

how did he get the job in the first place?

    U21 defeat

I don't know much about Givens, but from what I can see he look's very old fashioned in his management style, I think we have some great young talent in that squad like, Thornton, Reid, Barrett, Murphy etc...

    Givens Sucks fellas.

I'm surprised he even gave us a draw against Greece in a friendly last year after the dismissal of Mick "I'll stab Keane in the back and then show myself as a hero to the media" McCarthy.

Kerr is a good coach, and I'm sure will do fine with the Senior Squad, but I think we should have done this.

Leave Kerr as coach of the youths, and bring in Bora Milutinovic to manage the seniors. He might not be Irish, but he might be God disguised as a football coach!.

    That's just maverick talk, Sebastian.
