Anyone else find it a little curious that in the video for "21 Things I Want In A Lover" (in which she sets the bar for her suitors rather high), the combination of bad hair, bad lighting and pedantic attitude makes her look really unappealing? Now THAT'S ironic! (For the record -- I like a lot of Alanis' work, including this song, and she generally looks better than that.)
I still think of her as that little girl with the really short hair from "You can't do that on television" that used to be on Nickelodeon.
Did I tell you I saw her in concert in Dallas last month and her ass was literally inches from my face at one point? And she has the 80's hard rock chick look going right now, as you can probably tell from the photo.
Say this about Alanis .... when she showed up, I thought she was the complete corporate tool, a Brittney Spears for the Grunge/ Grrrrl Rock generation. But she's gotten better with each outing. Her songwriting has really improved. ands clean is a really terrific song, I thought.

My favorites in order are: 80s Metal Chick, Arabian Nights and Unplugged. The Goth look didn't do much for me.
