https://www.facebook.com/pages/Alan-Avila-Rivera/345723292134578 Alan Avila, had a spectacular season with his previous club, AD Colmenar Viejo, he won Pichichi, he scored 25 goals in 25 games. Well he also participated in a Nike Promises Camp, in which he was a finalist. He just got picked up by AD Alcoron and will play in Liga Adelante. Kid was born in 1995.
According to embajadoresaztecas, he was born in Puebla: Nombre: Alan Avila Rivera Fecha de nacimiento: 03/01/1995 Lugar de Nacimiento: Puebla, Puebla Altura: 1.78 Mt. Peso: 70 Kg. Posición: Delantero If anyone is interested, here's an interview with Alan from October, 2011. In it he describes his trajectory as a player in Mexico and on to Spain.
his dad posts on mediotiempo. Supposedly, like that one kid in France, the fedmex, has pretty much made no attempt to get him or his brother involved in the youth teams.
Alcorcon tied 1-1 with Guadalajara. Avila did not play: http://www.marca.com/2012/08/19/futbol/2adivision/1345411128.html
He's not with the first team His facebook says he played a friendly against ED Moratalaz, which i think play in a regional league in Madrid Something like the 5th level of the football pyramid You're better off following his facebook rather than the papers cause i doubt he will be part of the fist team for some while https://www.facebook.com/pages/Alan-Avila-Rivera/345723292134578
It appears that there has been some misinformation about Avila's signing, I couldn't find his name listed on the website for the first team. It appears that he was signed for Alcorcon's youth team in the Division de Honor and was allowed to participate in the preseason with the first team, this is the only mention of him anywhere on Alcorcon's website: http://www.adalcorcon.com/index.php/the-news/1399-arranca-la-ad-alcorcon-1213 I stumbled across another article, on the official website for the Liga Adelante which says that he was impressive in the preseason and will likely get to play in a few games in the Liga Adelante and Copa del Rey with the first team, but he will remain a member of the filial. http://www.ligabbva.com/news/2012/08/05/alan-avila-convence-en-alcorcon.html EDIT: looks like you just beat me to it, Mr. Black... but, noted none the less.
We should probably keep an eye on this one... He says, people say, he's the next Falcao. Never liked those kind of comparisons though. lol
He He said there is a possibility the he will join the first team straight away in december, while his paperwork is being cleared.
From what I've researched his team is in second place in la liga adelante if they keep it up his team could move up to la primera division.
He just received his call up for the "B" team since he had to handle some bureaucratic differences. So he will post up his stats starting this weekend.
