Sepahan just thrashed SS-Ahvaz (title contenders) by the score of 4-0, the Iraqi forward (Emad Reza) had a hat-trick. I hope they carry the momentum with them and get a big win.

We shouldn't take them lightly, Sepahan only managed a 2-1 win against them in Iran, and don't forget last year after Foolad beat Al-Karama 6-0 in Iran they went and lost in Syria, Al-Karama went on to finish 2nd in the AFC champions league that very year.

WTF????? No one has ever beaten Karame 6-0, EVER!!! Not even in the domestic league. Foolad beat some Kuwaiti club 6-0. Karame were the ones who whooooped Saba Batery home and away.

I never said anything, plus, if Ittihad was playing a domestic game I'd root against them as much as I root against Far$elona. Its just that Karame and them both rep Syria in this competition. My hometown team is close to relgation this year So looks like Itti and Karame in the ACL next year as well. Karame won the league this year as well.

Congrats to Sepahan - now they only need a draw against Al Shabab in Iran.

Good job by Sepahan. Even though we only need a tie against Al-Shabab, but we have to go into the game with full intention of winning, settling for a tie could be disasterous.

    3-1 for Sepahan

They are lucky we only managed to score 5 on them. We missed a PK and several golden chances to really beat them down. Although my team is Esteghlal, Sepahan is representing Iran and I'm with them 100%. It will be a cold day in hell before I cheer for an Arab team over and Iranian team.

Nice victory for Iranians today everywhere my friends. Now all we need to do is tie against the Saudi team Al Shahbab(sp?), and we are through. Considering the fact that the game will be in our house I like our odds. Too bad though we could only manage to get 1 point against Al Ain, but we can put that behind us now.

Sepahan may be able to go all the way. Why do I get a feeling that we will bring both Asian Club Championship and Asian Cup back to Iran. Start of a new era.

    Go Iran
