Ajaxmania has quite suddenly called it quits. As someone who has maintained a similar web site for a long long time, I can certainly sympathize (and guess at the reasoning behind) this decision. But it's still a sad day for Ajax fans. The worldwide Ajax community is now poorer for the absence of another major English-language service, following Ajax Cyberside, the original Ajax Home Page (by Edo), and several others. But Ajaxmania was the biggest and most ambitious of them all. Ajaxmania English discussions have become especially significant, and I certainly lament their demise. My sincerest thanks to Edwin and everybody who put so much blood, sweat and tears into Ajaxmania, as a fellow web developer and more importantly as an Ajax fan, for all the years of hard work on our behalf. http://www.ajaxmania.nl/
Yes, I share the same sympathy with you on this. Over the years, I have log on to many Ajax sites, since the orig. Ajax Cyberside and this was one of the sites that had given me lots of info and enjoyment. To Michel, Edo, Edwin and others : thanks for all your dedication over the years in sharing with the rest of the world your passion. It is because of your continued dedication over the years that enabled the rest of the world to share and enjoy the common denominator that is Ajax. To Ajax-USA: I continue to applaud your dedication and efforts and you have my continued support as ever. Seee you folks in a few weeks' time at the front of the Heineken hall, pre-match Ajax-Inter !!!
Quite some Ajax fans don't mind. The website and the webmaster weren't the most popular guys under a significant part of the fanatical Ajax following. The site itself was not bad although I never visited it. For English fans it was probably the best site (although I like ajaxusa better).
