AJAX capitalized for Blue, Revenge cuz imo Ajax deserved a draw in their last 2 games against Milan.

    Maldini is back for Milan
vdVaart is suspended, Maxwell is out most likely, Grygera is out due to suspension i think, Trabelsi is still injured, vDamme is out, and Pienaar is mostly out.

i cant figure out the lineup, here is a try tho:
    Lobont
    De Jong...Heitinga...Pasanen...SQD
    Galasek...Litmanen...Sneijder cant figure out a 4th.
    Zlatan...Sonck

Soetaers, Wamberto, Sikora, or maybe even Obodai could be seen in the mid, Blue said Obodai played well this weekend.
IMO the only weak spot will be the 4th midfielder, not that weak tho. I like SQD as a LB instead of a center for this game cuz i think his mistakes wont hurt as much from there and he looked solid there when isaw him as a LB before.

    just checked Ajax's website.
Sonck is out, Maxwell is expected to play, vDamme is questionable, and Litmanen is probable.
so assuming Maxwell and Litmanen are fit what do you do? Put Maxwell in the midfield and play Litmanen up front? if you dont want Litmanen up front could Ajax play a 4-3-3 with 2 wingers up front with Zlatan? or would they go with a 4-3-1-1?
i am nervous, hopefully Blue comes up with the link for the webcast. btw how is the quality of the stream blue?

it is a splendid stream and the korean announcers add a strange ooomph to the webcast

    http://www.jinjumbc.co.kr/preview/vod_view2.php

    http://stream.andongmbc.co.kr/tv.htm

    my guess at a lineup

    ............lobont
    .....escudé...pasanen
    heitenga.............maxwell
    ............galásek
    ..obodai.............sikora
    ............sneijder
    ...................mitea
    .......zlatan

perhaps soetaers for sikora or sneider at LM and litmanen in the hole - also yakubu could be anywhere from RB to CB to DM to RM

I dont want to sound ignorant...but from what I've seen, Vandervaart is on of the best young players I've seen so far! The guy is absolutley phenomenal: passing, freekicks, basically a very team-oriented player who can really work wonders. An Ajax team facing Milan without him is like a gun without its chamber. I think its perfectly plausible that the best chance Ajax team have (against an injury-free Milan; with the exception of Nesta's absence) against Milan is a draw. Ofcourse I could be wrong, football does have its mysterious moments, but then again my evaluation of Ajax's situation is not outrageous of any sort.

We have always played quite well without VDV. And certainly at the moment he's lost his position as one of the most important players. I'm more worried about missing Sonck and Trabelsi... and possibly Maxwell. Grygera out isn't good news either.

Then again, we still have enough quality left... Hope to see Litmanen and Mitea in.

Mark it down. This will be a 0-0 draw. I don't see Ajax going all out for victory with the squad they have tomorrow. If they do they could can't burned by Milan on the counter attack. I think Ajax will take thier chances with Brugge on the last matchday and hope Milan defeats Celta at home.

This is the lineup I expect Milan to play tomorrow:
    ---------------Dida----------------
    Cafu--Laursen--Costacurta--Pancaro
    -----Gattuso----Pirlo----Seedorf----
    ----------------Kaka---------------
    ---------Sheva------Pippo---------

There is a slight chance Maldini will play but it is unlikely. It should be a good game either way though.
