. Koeman has implied that he will play with wingers to try and get around the mass defense the Norwegians are likely to play, so Sikora and van der Meyde (who had a fantastic game this weekend) will probably be starters

. Fred Grim will be sitting on the bench today, this because Ajax are still having goalie problems with their only option being the rented Timmer or getting a 16 year old from their B selection. Even though he declined the offer earlier this year, the problem is bigger now than ever, so Grim has agreed to help his team out.

. Chivu's injury suffered the day before yesterday seems to be lighter than thought at first, he might still be able to play tonight.

    Table so far:

    1. Lyon - 6 points
    2. Inter Milan - 4 points
    3. Ajax - 4 points
    4. FC Rosenborg - 2 points

Why the Hell did Zlatan start over Mido? Zlatan who should have gotten the red card because of his moronic actions on the field. Piece of .....

Why the Hell did Boukhari start over Sikora?!?

    Ajax - FC Rosenborg 1-1

They gave it away, but then, if they aren't able to win from Inter and Lyon, they don't even deserve to go to the 2nd round.

    1.Lyon - 7 points
    2.Inter - 5 points
    3.Ajax - 5 points
    4.Rosenborg - 3 points

If he had, he wouldn't have been in the stadium.

The only good thing from this is that some foreign team will see that Zlatan made 3 goals in the CL, and will think he's good and buy him for mucho money.

I like Zlatan. He plays a little bit too dirty too often though. I like strong physical play but you shouldn't overdo it. You gotta hand it to him tough... all that foul play and not being sent off. Very professional.

We should have gotten a penalty!!!

    yea,
Zlatan is the real deal. His presence in the team - and his true worth - has been debated strongly by pro and anti Zlatanists.

I, for one, am in complete awe of him. There has not been a more skillful player wearing that no 9 shirt since....since...dare I say it....(no, I won't say it !)

It's a completely different debate though, when one argues about his EFFECTIVENESS, which I admit is still inconsistent. But his skills are second to none, period.

All things considered, Ajax is lucky to land such a player.

And all the talk (on other bulletin boards) about who should be the no 1 striker in Ajax is completely irrelevant, imho. With a player such as Zlatan, a coach should find a position for him on the team.

So, I'm glad that he is being made an intregal part of this year's Koeman team.
Yup, he's a little on the 'dirty' side, but he's on our team, so that's ok with me !

Zlatan is extremely talented but he just needs to get it all going.
