i know this is early but i thought everyone might want to know that this game will be on a free korean webcast tune in here http://www.kbs.co.kr/onair/H_2TV.asx or if that isn't working, tune here and click KBS2TV http://user.postown.net/a358821/tvnet.htm
haha sucks for you guys, i get to watch it live on espn latin america. and i ONLY have to wake up at around 5 in the morning!!! lol. still looking forward to it, especially since no Ajax game in the CL coverage this week. hopefully they follow up with Ajax v AZ as both teams are doing well. it will be nice to not see psv or feyenoord for a change if they do.
bad news in the aftermath of wednesday's win - trabelsi sprained his MCL and will be out for 4-8 weeks VDV also had a knock v. celta vigo but should be fine for sunday
what are the guesses to the right back, not only for this game but for the next 6 weeks? i would like de jong but it could also be grygera, no? and even JOB could play there if needed when he returns...whenever that is. off topic of this thread: any1 expect ajax to make any moves during the winter transfer window? possibly uche could come back or they could go after some other winger who could play in the cl?
1- well grygera would probably be the obvious choice - heitenga is back but he needs some match fitness - van damme is also a possibilty - i'm not sure it de jong is on koeman's RB depth chart, but like you, i would like to see him on the pitch more often - the main problem with that is that galasek's been playing so damn well 2- i do expect uche to arrive and i know that they have a couple of finnish teens they'd like to sign, but i hadn't heard any rumblings
Blue, you live in germany right? Have you ever been to the Bavarian Hills, Paderborne or Guttersloh? Ive been to these places as I used to live there! I thought Germany was alright, especially in the south, although Ive never been to Hamburg itself!! Used to play for a sunday league team against the local Germans, was great fun!
Wow someone else has heard of the "Mountain Time Zone". I thought it was just me and the one other guy who lives here. I've been a fan of Ajax for a while and I haven't been able to see a complete game on TV, but there is a slight chance I might get to see them in person this spring.
umm i agree grygera will most likely be at the top of the depth chart. i dont agree with v damme tho n not sure about heitinga. vdamme is a pure lefty i think n only plays lcb and lb. heitinga i thought was only a rcb but idk about rb. true about galasek but i think he is playing in the middle of the midfield n de jong can play on the right, but pienaar has been playing well and they have been wanting to be more offensive in the midfield. de jong can also play left mid but i am sure with soeaters and others now they would want a true lefty. and i am pretty sure they have alredy bought 2 finns.
i expect to be in attendace when they play milan in the champions league (although i will probably sneak up to a'dam for one before that) - going to an AJAX match is something i've dreamed about for years oh and btw i'm from st louis
1-heitenga had played RB before the injury, but i think they wanted him to be a little more selective on his upfield runs 2-you are right about van damme, but i'm not sure that precludes him from getting a game there 3-one finn (17 yo midfelder kasper hamalainen) had a good 2-week trial and i believe they are trying to sign him, the other (eoro korte, a striker IIRC) is set for a trial in mid-november
Without kezman and van bommel, PSV kinda stands no chance, and this is pretty match pretty much decides the title. Others better step up!!!
apparently the webcast is not live, which sucks and is strange because they normally are - i have been told to check back in 4 or 5 hours
Need live updates? I'll help... watching the game now on ESPN International, live across Australia. Still scoreless, almost 20 minutes in.
