I would like to attend some time Ajax game in Amsterdam. Can anybody recomend me how I can get tickets and information. Thank you.
In short: you can get these overpriced packages (including a meal and some other things) that Ajax offers or you will have to register for a ClubCard at www.ajax.nl that enables you to buy tickets at "Ticketbox" sales points.
The ajaxusa info was a great help when I went to a match last November. As long as you're not attending one of the more high-profile games (PSV, Feyenoord, etc.), you can buy tickets the same day at the stadium as I did. It was a snap, by far my easiest experience to date getting match tickets in Europe.
Trouble is that this 'profile' extends a bit further than most would guess. So it's advisable to contact Ajax about it. On the other hand I haven't bought a ticket at the stadium since.... very long anyway So I don't follow the rules that much.
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I know that if you contact Ajax from abroad, they can only advise you about buying a package from Ajax Travel. And while that's a sure way to go, it's also very expensive. For almost every home league game of Ajax, you can get tickets the "old fashioned way" once you arrive in Amsterdam, for face-value of ticket. The information on http://www.ajax-usa.com/ajax/tickets/index.html is accurate and reliable. Ajax fans are luckier than those of most other major European teams. Getting tickets is not difficult, if you know what to do.
