I think there are issues between him and FdB. I'm a little disappointed in this as well but it's better than being consigned to Jong Ajax for another year. I would hope that there is a clause that allows him to return at mid-season but doubt that Ajax are that clever.
I also think there are issues between him and De Boer. Like for many other players in the past. Now I wonder who will be the 2nd stiker ? Siggy is moving to Nantes.
I'm guessing it will be Milik and Fischer as the primary strikers. A little bit crowded up front with young players, so maybe it's good for him to get minutes on loan this year. Next year, I doubt Frank will still be here, and I'm sure someone will be sold

The name Vaclav Kadlec is floating around for the striker position. Don´t know him but I´m not impressed with his youtube achievements.
I think I'm a little disappointed that Ajax are letting Efmorfidis go to AZ. He is quite talented from what I've seen.
...but his loss of form has been just appalling. He went from Everton's player of the year to someone who could not even start at a bottom of the table Bundesliga side. Fortunately, this will only be a one year deal and my hope is that though having good history with the club he sees little action as he is not good enough any more.
I remember when he left he said that he loved Ajax and wanted to come back. From that perspective, I'm glad he's back. However, I wonder just how good he's going to be. Nonetheless, it's nice to see one of ours come back home.
Ajax has been playing a couple of friendlies recently. I haven't watched them but I follow reactions and people tend to say that VdeBeek had pretty bad games and doesn't seem good enough for the first team. I also read a lot of negative comments on Heitinga and Dijks, anybody watched ?
