Ajax in the CL feels very undeserved, but I'm not complaining. Crap, now that I think about it...if viewed from an American perspective, Ajax are the best team (not including PSV). Its common for a team to be the best during the regular season without argument and then go on to lose in the playoffs.
Well done Ajax, and yes, or though they may not have deserved it, I look forward to seeing them in the CL next season!
Can I just remind people that we havent actually qualified for the CL yet. We still have to qualify dont we?????
CL qualifying isn't that difficult. Most cases you don't see a "tough" team until the 3rd round (which Ajax is already in), and even then you can still sometimes find a minnow. edit: also how the heck did this thread get so big? it should have been closed a LOOOOOOONG time ago. is it that you guys want to keep my thread going? thanks guys!
Sure there are difficult teams in the 3rd round of the CL, but from memory it seems that most of the time it ends up being Team A that should win vs Team B which is small.
Well, this is true...as long as we are seeded. I'm not totally sure if we will be. I'm sure Forza AZ will have an idea about that.
