Who will win and why? Who do you want to win? A tie equals a win for Inter since that's all they need to qualify for 2nd phase. Should Lyon tie at Rosenborg (possible but very unlikely) both Ajax and Inter proceed, even if Inter would win.

I think Ajax will win this game (I hope). We should have won in Milan but were robbed by bad luck. We hate Inter (I already did) so I expect there to be a quite intimidating, hostile atmosphere. Besides that Rafael vd Vaart will be so motivated that he will be unstoppable. Jari Litmanen used to be THE player to come through in hard times. I'm not sure if he will be playing when vd Vaart plays but it is possible and I think we should field as much quality as possible.

Chivu won't be playing after his BS red card against Lyon. But we have 17 yr old Nigel de Jong, another tremendous talent who has played 2 brilliant games so far. No Chivu but certainly talented.

I think it will be a hard match but with a tiny bit of luck 2-0 or 3-1 should be possible.

    INTER! INTER! VAFFAN CULO!

Rosenborg will give 100% despite being eliminated because it's the last match for the old coach Nils Arne Eggen who retires after 14 years. Rosenborg are strong at home. I believe they can help Ajax through.

I'm hoping ajax will win, as a french fan, with that result Lyon would go through to the 2nd round with a tie against Rosenborg, but i worry about Lyon, its gonna be very very hard for them to win there, Rosenborg will want revenge for losing 0-5 at Lyon, plus the coach thing, and the cold, plus Lyon are not that great away from home.
Ajax surprised me this year, they could go very far in this cl.

I really want Ajax to win. It's too bad that John O'Brien is injured; I really wanted to see him play in the CL.

The way i see it, Lyon will almost certainly go through, so the real question is, who will win the other game. Based on the performance in Milan, Inter might be in trouble, but we have to take into account the fact that there wasn't much respect for Ajax at the time by Cuper. So i don't think Ajax will outplay them as much as they did at the San Siro, but they should at least be able to keep up with the Italians. Personally i think it will be a very Un-dutch, very closed game, with few goals.

It will be a draw. And Lyon will lose making Inter and Ajax both advance.

I can see the Inter - Ajax game ending in a draw or a last minute winner for one of the teams. Personally I don't mind which one of them goes through, but Lyon won't necessarily find it that easy against Rosenborg.

Congradulations to Ajax and Inter for going through. Lyon choked plain and simple they knew they needed a win. I know it was a road game but it wasn't like they were playing a top 4 team from one of the top 4 leagues. You should be able to beat a team from Norway in a must win game if your any good.
