    Ajax - Grunn preview

Starts tonight 19:30 CET at the arena

Normally, matches like these would result in a complete rout, but last season we gave them (ajax) more than a good run for their money so why not this year?

Since the boys in green don't seem to be able to string more than 3 passes together without turnovers  their best chance is to play the long ball towards 'The flying farmer' Martin Drent as often as possible and hope to force a breakthrough......While maintaining a tight defense (...and for pete's sake don't allow an early goal!)

On top of that we need to play rough...extremely rough. With the match vs. Arsenal in the back of their heads the Ajax players will want to avoid any more injuries at all costs, it could work to our benefit.

All this probably won't make us very popular in Amsterdam, but then again: have we ever been?
Besides, staying in the Eredivisie is all that matters to us and a draw or a win here would be a huge steal....

I don't really see Groningen getting a point in Amsterdam the way they've been playing this season.

Ah well at least they are holding on
    2-1 for Ajax now

but 6-0 for PSV and 0-4 for Feyenoord, thus considering Ajax is the best of the top three congrats to Grun.

Damn! 2-1! A draw was a real possibility tonight, with a little more luck....hope they can make the same effort vs. Feyenoord next week....
