It can't be that serious, he looked fine on Saturday when he walked off, we are probably just not taking any chances 'cause England mightn't be as gentle with him as we'd like...if he rests it for two weeks he should be okay.

Keep those fingers crossed though amigo...Beats looks woefully short of form, we really need Johnson.

McFadden, Anichebe, Vaughan, Cahill and Osman will just have to step up to the plate.

    COYB!

Skysports have just said he pulled out of the England squad. Another setback for him, although he wouldn't play many minutes with Robo and the Traitor coming back.

Doesn't seem like its too bad though, but we must err in the side of caution.

Anyone else think a McFadden - Anichebe strike partnership would be pretty cool?

Is that sarcasm? That pairing may be fine against Luton, but that wouldn't get it done against the Premiership. Losing AJ hurts you guys...A Lot....You have the parts to overcome his absence, but they have to step it up. Cahill needs to start putting those free headers away, and Beattie needs to find his scoring boots. A lot of "if's" involved but if Moyes can get the team fired up Everton will be fine.
