Weiler has been largely good this season, but Markovic as RM and Herrera RB was the wrong choice and led directly to conceding that goal.

I saw that guy in O'Hare heading to DC as I was outbound on business travel.

When I saw the replays of the tying goal, the far-side defense was lacking. This is either 1) the far-side defender not paying attention, or 2) that defender has to shore up the middle and the far-side mid has to cover back. On the tying goal, it could have been both.

I remember when they came to play us in a friendly. That was a great party crowd.

    This team is well coached.

I’ll say it again…if they can bring in a winger with great pace who is also technically competent, and upgrade Servannia (which shouldn’t be hard; he’s not very good) I see a team that can advance at least one round in the playoffs, maybe 2. I, guessing Hopkins will become a sort of narrow winger/playmaker once Baribo is healthy enough to start. They’re not exactly FUN to watch, but absent Stroud and Servannia, they do t make me nervous.

I disagree. It’s ok to have less of the ball, but when it gets that high, it’s a problem.

Feels like Pirani leaving will give the team some options here.

Feels like that's what Dozell is supposed to be, which given his CV, he probably is.

Guess we'll find out this summer window whether Dr. Linkedin Lunatic can actually bring something.

In the Spanish language broadcast you could hear the production audio for much of the game.

So you'd hear the assistant director say, "Here comes a graphic that says DC is unbeaten in four" then you'd see the graphic on screen that says that DC is unbeaten in four, then the announcer would say that DC is unbeaten in four. Total amateur hour.:ROFLMAO:

No. You are objectively wrong. Ross Smith should have his vocal chords surgically removed. And I'd happily do it. To be clear, I am not a surgeon.

well, they might not be excellent, but they are much better than the other announcers we have to suffer through. Do we prefer having to hear landy-cakes or Lalas?

If Anglophilia is a cancer on American soccer, Ross Smith is a tumor.

He is talentless, insightless, and rocks whisper about him, "That dude sure is dumb." If it weren't for his vaguely British accent, he would never have a job in American soccer. But because we, as a soccer country, fetishize English accents, he has a plum job embarrassing himself on Apple TV every week. The accent is literally the only reason he has a job.

Except the accent is completely fake. He's from Canada.

The important question is still whether the former DC United manager was offside when he scored against DC United the the 1998 MLS Cup? Would DC United have 5 stars?

I told him several times that he was offside. He always slyly grinned and said that if he had been offside, the linesman would have raised his flag.

Baribo and Louis starting together, Hopkins likely moved to right midfield, Markovic starting in Hefti's place.

A very sweet goal. Now, we need another (2 would be better) and then see if we can manage a game and close it out.

Is the coach not wearing any dcu gear? If we are winning in suppose it doesn't matter, but it seems weird.
