First off before I criticize let me say the following...big props to the traveling Fire fans for the following:

    1) Traveling to K.C.

    2) THE FLARES!

    BUT....

I have to say that you lads missed a once in a lifetime opportunity...Meola on the field. Meola playing forward. Meola playing forward on your end...and...

NO WHO ATE ALL THE PIES CHANT?

I know this is an english chant but if there was ever an opportunity to use it here in the MLS this would be it eh?

Good job in the second half, way to pull back 3 on the road.

Agreed. As much as I hate Fire, the flares were great, but the chant would have been spectacular. Good showing, though.

as much as you hate the fire, I can't stand Meola. It was pretty funny to see him get all upset over what he thought was a foul in the final minutes of the game.

The tv announcer said that Meola was the "heaviest" man to play forward in MLS this season.

I don't know if it was the FSW guys who made that comment. FSC guys did.

Jack Edwards should've said with a completely straight face and no sarcasm..."That's why he's here!," as Meola complained to the ref about being bumped to the ground by Brown as Thornton collected the deflected shot late in the game.

    Ah, whatever.

If you wanted to make fricking requests, you should have showed up in KC.

We were too busy having fun calling him Tony Danza, and singing You've Lost that Loving Feeling to bother with an organized Who ate the pies?
