i think that the level off women-goalkeepers is getting better and better. i mean 10 years ago there where scurry then maybe nordby bente (norway) and that was it the goalkeepers where a bit off the weakest point in womensoccer. If i see now and i see hope solo - rachel brow-nadine angener-hedvig lindahl..... the goalkeeprs are getting beter and beter are you agree?
On the whole this is true, but many of the goalkeepers are all concentrated in the same country. In the WC, some of the keeping was atrocious, because some countries haven't developed talent at the position, while others like the US and Canada seem to have a large pool of selections. My impression is that good coaching is essential to developing keepers, so as the quality and number of good coaches in the women's game improves, the keeping will improve.
