    More fuel for the fire:

I am hearing that Agoos signed Krupnik to a multi-year guaranteed contract in six figures. The real slap in the face is that Krupnik's family has close ties with Agoos and the signing was a favor to a friend.

This guy deserves to be drawn and quartered through the streets of Newark.

Re: JCO Fired - Agoos Must Go Immediately

That's beyond fishy. If there is any truth to it, Agoos should be investigated by the league. I remember reading about his brother's ties to Kupcake when we signed him.

Cant say it is an ironclad fact, but I did hear it was a two year guaranteed deal for over 100K a season.

Great. Another crappy contract we'll be saddled with, just as we get rid of some of the other dead wood. I saw more from Garcia in 70 minutes against TFC than I did from Krupnik in any of his rare appearances.

I'm convinced that Agoos is a DC agent sent to wreak havoc on RBNY.

Part of me wants to agree with that the statement but it keeps losing out to the other part that believes he is a f@cking idiot.

And if Onionsack is right on this, holy shit what a d@uchebag.

What are the odds of Agoos working out of LA next year?

It does really bother me that he hasn't been canned yet.

RBNY needs to get the coaching situation sorted before all the good ones are gone.

Richie Williams and Preki (apparently gone from Chivas USA) aren't going to wait around forever.

Luckily Peter Vermes was hired in KC, so he can't bring his fail to NY with him. To me, it's Ritchie or someone accomplished and foreign (since no other good Yank coaches are left), and that foreigner will likely struggle. So, right now, I'll take Ritchie.

Preki will probably be out there, but may be headed to TFC.

It is just rumors or is this confirmed, ...Because if it is true, this man have to be punished with not remorse....and the league have to expelled him from MLS for good, and bring this contract to the civilian court to be voided....

found this interesting, this was posted as a reply to someone asking for an update on the GM status

just found it interesting that red bull is reaching out to the fans in the slightest... even if that reaching out is just being vague and prolonging the much needed and anticipated news...

Beacuse MLS doesn't announce the terms of contracts it is just a rumor, but i have to believe it is true. We will know for sure is Leo is still on the roster next year and the players union releases the salaries in the spring.

With Krupnik going back to Israel, apparently this rumor just turned out to be smoke. Thank god, it would have been ugly saddled with that contract in 2010.

Could be, maybe not. I heard that was the original contract he signed last summer. Either way, crisis averted.

Are we absolutely sure it's not just some temporary loan arrangement with Maccabi Netanya? Must admit my Hebrew is a little rusty.
