I'm actually having some good hopes for this final season. A time-hopping plot that seems to give the show a tiny bit of a Timeless feel to it (that is a big compliment). And Nora Zehetner! A fantastic actress who has gotten to play few juicy roles since her brilliant performance in Brick.
I watched the season premier last night, not bad, interesting concept. By traveling back in time it will help them get around the Thanos snap easily.
I am enjoying the new season a lot. It's very deeply tied to the previous seasons though, so my wife is out - she tried to watch the first episode with me but not having seen the previous couple of seasons it was completely inaccessible to her. The callbacks to Agent Carter are great, though (as long as you watched both seasons of Agent Carter, I guess).
Yeah, crazy about that. I was only going to watch it to play out the string, having seen all previous seasons before this final season. But I am riveted at the moment.
So the final season was surprisingly good, though I'd argue the first half of it was better than the second half. But still a mostly strong finish when I honestly hadn't been expecting as much.
