If Chelsea win the Champions League tomorrow, on what basis then could Spurs fans say they are a bigger club than Chelsea? Would they have a larger fan base? Chelsea might have had lots of glory hunters but every successful team does, that cannot be helped. There's little difference in terms of core fan base. Finance? Chelsea win hands down even without Abramovich. Chelsea have a larger turnover, which obviously is not all down to roman's money. More tradition? Spurs have only won a few more trophies in total then Chelsea have. And Chelsea have won more leagues, which is obviously the most prized trophy. A champions league win on Wednesday would mean the Spurs and Chelsea would be equal in European trophies (if we don't count the Super Cup), and Spurs have little tradition in the European Cup anyhow. So spurs, hope man u win tomorrow, or expect pwnage from Chelsea fans.
