definitely good stuff. the only thing you are guilty of is possibly giving us too many articles to read! as for the ladder, my guess is spots 1-5 will be had, while the fight will be for the last 3 spots. i guess thats common though.
That's always been my m.o.... too much stuff is better than not enough. And I'll have the Wednesday media run-down underway once I'm done dropping my wife off at work. It's been that way for the last few years... there's a lot of parity in the league. Everyone seems to have conceded the minor premiership to St. Kilda (even Leigh Matthews has, according to the article in The Age), and spots 2-5 will battle it out for the double chance in September, that's the motivation. And mind you, anyone from 6-13 still has a chance of playing finals footy. And having said that, with Geelong currently sitting in eighth spot, that makes me a bit nervous.

And these are my tips for Round 11... Collingwood v West Coast Adelaide v Carlton Hawthorn v Essendon Brisbane v Port Adelaide North Melbourne v Richmond Sydney v St. Kilda Western Bulldogs v Geelong Fremantle v Melbourne I'm on 51/80 so far this season-- and with this round's tipping looking pretty cut and dried, I can feel an 8/8 coming.
Speaking of the Hawks, some sad news from Gelnferrie Oval this afternoon... Club mourns sudden passing of "Hawks Spirit" Ivan Moore -- from Hawthorn's official site Our condolences to the entire Hawthorn organisation.
Friday Night Footy, at Telstra Dome, between Collingwood and West Coast... [result]Collingwood 14.9 (93) West Coast 11.9 (75)[/result] Match report from afl.com.au Will follow up with the views from the Melbourne and Perth papers in the morning.

The Hawks did themselves no favours with the way they went about the game today. Being a neutral at the game, it was disappointing to see some of the Hawthorn players resort to sniping tactics, especially during the 3rd quarter when they totally lost the plot. Hawthorn deserve to win the wooden spoon this year based on that performance... absolutely pathetic.
Saturday's results... As aforementioned by ScouseCat, the Hawthorn v Essendon match at the MCG: [result]Hawthorn 12.8 (80) Essendon 24.10 (154)[/result] Adelaide v Carlton, at AAMI Stadium: [result]Adelaide 12.15 (87) Carlton 14.7 (91)[/result] Damn you, Brendan Fevola. North Melbourne v Richmond, at Telstra Dome: [result]North Melbourne 24.10 (154) Richmond 12.8 (80)[/result] And the blockbuster of the round, Brisbane v Port Adelaide, at The Gabba: [result]Brisbane 18.15 (123) Port Adelaide 12.14 (86)[/result] And tomorrow, it's off to Telstra Dome to watch Geelong take on the Western Bulldogs... getting an early start on the highway for that journey.

[Result]Saints can't pull an Arsenal after all. Sydney 112 - 76 St. Kilda late in the 4th quarter. [/Result] Fraser Gehrig had zero goals from what I've heard so far!!!
The result indeed held up... Full-time score between Sydney and St. Kilda at the SCG: [result]Sydney 17.10 (112) St. Kilda 11.10 (76)[/result] And [result]indeed, no goals to Fraser Gehrig for the Saints. I haven't seen the game yet, I'll be watching the re-broadcast later on Fox Footy Channel here, but I'm guessing that the Saints had some problems with the smaller ground at the SCG. Might have done some havoc with their all-motion, all-action style of play, I'm guessing.[/result] And in the other Sunday matches... Western Bulldogs v Geelong, at Telstra Dome (a game I just got back from a little while ago): [result]Western Bulldogs 10.7 (67) Geelong 17.11 (113)[/result] Great performance by the Cats, especially in the second half. And at Subiaco Oval in Perth, Fremantle v Melbourne: [result]Fremantle 9.8 (62) Melbourne 13.15 (93)[/result] Went 5/8 on my tipping this weekend, and I am now 56/88 for the season.
Fantastic win by Geelong yesterday, beating the Western Bulldogs by 46 points to move to 7th on the ladder. It was good to get one back on the Bulldogs, who had beaten us the last 4 times we've played them until yesterday. I also tipped 5/8 to move to 54 for the season.
OK...I know on your time this round has already been completed...but I swear on my grandparent's grave that I haven't looked at the results and just saw the results of round 10 so here's my tips for round 11 just for fun: Collingwood v West Coast Adelaide v Carlton Hawthorn v Essendon (ooh, that hurts) Brisbane Lions v Port Adelaide (Lions are due for a stumble at the Gabba) Kangaroos v Richmond Sydney Swans v St. Kilda (are there enough lights in the scoreboard at the SCG?) Western Bulldogs v Geelong Fremantle v Melbourne OK...have at it...how strange is this, you'll all know the results of my tipping at least 3 days before I will!
