Actually, from your next article, it looks like the main reason these guys risked their lives to protect the SEAL was a tribal code of honor that requires hospitality toward guests. That bit about the hospitality code caught my attention while reading a different article about the incident, so I looked up some information on the internet. Do a google search on "melmastia," it's fascinating stuff.
