Yes, brought through the youth academies and now some in the first squads for their teams by now and Kagawa is in the national team already. There are a few players in University sides though. This generation is pretty much the first generation to be comepletely brought up by the J.League, and a increasingly good Youth Developement system. We expect big things. On top of that, this squad doesn't have Mu Kanazaki in it who is an established regular in Oita Trinita, but he'll play in U20 WC "if" japan qualify. And not sure how long but I think Kakitani got injured in the Yemen game.
Did any one see the comedy match that ended for Qatar 2-1? or I forgot Qatar isn't in this competition, I meant UAE. Our player got an Unjust sent off (UAE player was in a 10 meter offside) and Unjust PK. I'm not defending our Sh!tty Youth team, I said it million times this is the worst Iraqi Youth team ever. but the Qatari referee entertained me with his comedy actions and he proved us that they "Qatar" still hate us because of the 80's. In the 1986 WC Qualifications, and the same one that we qualified to the world cup. we grouped with Lebanon (withdrew later), Jordan and Qatar. Qatar did every possible cheating thing to qualify. they won their first match and in the second match it was supposed to be played in Kuwait because it was our home ground. any way some how they moved our match from Kuwait to India???? this is nothing but even after moving the match we won against Qatar 2-1 and qualified to the next round. but what the Qataries did in India is unforgettable thing... they burned the Iraqi flag and they showed us how they hate us. And it seems they still hate us. In the last WC Qualifications during the match against Qatar, there was a sign by one of the fans written on it (we don’t have foreigners in our team). It was a random sign by a random fan but after the match they made it a big national issue. The Qatari media made it a big issue so they can give the Qatari fans a reason to hate us. (we don’t have foreigners in our team). This Qatari referee is a victim of that media because he is Beloshi (or Balochi) , an Iranian tribe who lives in the Arab lands. You can figure it out that he felt insulted by that random sign. so he treated our boys well in this tournament. And btw, he will be our match referee in the Gulf Cup... so
9Iraqi men against 12 UAE men 1-2 I saw 10 min in Dubai sport and it was just a fuc3t up referre anyway our chanses to make it true is like 15% By the way Congrats KSA and Japan, s Korea (to bad syria)
Stupid!I predicted a 0-0,and then this!In the last min.The match end was maybe 10 sec. left. And we caught a goal. But I think we played well and had some good chances.Iraq and UAE are must win matches.I think we can do that,Inshaallah! I remember 2006 in U-17 Championship we lost in last minute to China 1-0,and then won the next two matches. So it will be hard, but possible. Any highlights or pics of the matches?Stupid afc internet side didn´t create a photo gallery like two years ago.Thanks.
I did not watch the Iraq-UAE game, but one PK and two red cards surely destroyed the game. Very bad luck for Iraq. Good luck for them in next games. I don't know you can read Japanese, but anyway here is Japanese article about this U-19 team just before the tournament. http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/japan/text/200810300008-spnavi.html It says "Japanese U-19 team is in danger of not being able to qualify to U-20 World Youth" Also many of watchers of this youth team point out the problem of the weak defence and lack of good finishers in this team. With Kanazaki and Kagawa, MFs was considered as strong point of this team, but Kanazaki is out due to J-League game, and Kagawa runs fever and can not play against Yemen. So his condition will not be good for next few games. Anyway he may return to Japan during this tournament . This tournament is for young age, so it is very unpridicable, but anyway many fans in Japan just want them to get the ticket to World Youth and considered it as hard task in this very hard group with Iran and Saudi. Good luck for them.
Perhaps you should provide us with some clips to show us how "unjust" the red cards were. Two red cards is very much in conformity with Iraq's style of play when there's no sympathetic white referee around, but I could be wrong.
Congats to Saudi, their Number 10 Player is VERY GOOD. Has that wizardry in him. I think Alobaid or something. Always a heart-breaker to lose so late in the game, but they took their few opportunities well, while we didn't take our plenty of opportunities. Iran has lots of stars on this team with a wealth of experience, Mosalmaan, HajSafy, and Ansarifard, but they really need to play as a team. Our coach is very bad, poor subs (wrong time to sub!) and playing players out of position. Anyway, this is Hajsafy's team and tournament, he has to take it by the horns ...
They will update the unjust PK and the unjust red card and also they will upload the whole match. http://forum.kooora.com/f.aspx?t=12719002 Iraq style of play is known to everybody, we are the most fairest people in the gulf and people like to play with us because we don't cheat.
I know what you mean brother! Today: North Korea-Lebanon 4-0 China-Tajikistan 6-0 Jordan-Uzbekistan 0-1 Australia-Thailand 1-0 Some really surprising results.Congrats.
Don't be so sure: http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/socceroos/verbeek-warns-of-iraq-trickery-119712/ "Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek has branded Iraq as fakers hell-bent on pulling off a World Cup con-job against Australia at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday evening." ‘’They also do it at Olympic level. Graham Arnold (Olyroos coach) tells me it’s just the same delaying tactics there. We know it’s going to happen."
LOL you are so dusty. we already discussed about this before, Pim Verbeek is a sore loser coach no more no less. He was the South Korean team coach before taking the charge of the Australian team, Iraq knocked south Korea out twice in 2 diffrent competitions, the Asian Cup and the Asian Games. so that's why he has grudge against Iraq and when we played against Australia our players proved him wrong as ALWAYS. And the Australians here can prove it as well, ask them by yourself. Any way.. this is the protest against the referee. http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9117/protestlq2.jpg
They will see who have more money in there pocket and then they will chose who is right...this is good, so people stop pushing as around
lol sore loser? Look who's talking. You're the ones who make a big deal after every match and turn it into a sob story about how the whole world is against you and the ref hates you and Qatar controls the world, etc. etc. etc. Even in the Gulf Cup the Iraqis were mad because KSA didn't play for the draw to let both teams go through, and you say you play fair? Can't you guys lose a match without whining about it for once in your life? I mean seriously it's an under 19 game, you're not even supposed to care about the result because it's about preparing future players. Mussav you seem like a good guy, but I mean look at the letter you just posted; it's embarrassing. Look at the terrible grammar and the lame "legalese." "The referee was nervous to our blayers." lol Imagine if AFC had to do overturn every match because of this kind of excuse? Maybe the reason Iraqi players play the way they do is because of all the political and psychological winding up that they're subjected to before every match.
Didn't I give you the link you asked for? so just wait until they upload the clips. what happened to the Youth team is obvious unjust actions by the referee. Yes the coach is sore loser and we proved him wrong every time we played against him. Huh? it seems you forgot that you won by a fake PK. Yassir fake it and you can search for the old gulf Cup thread and see the pics. Noor Sabri didn't touch Yassir. We didn't complain about that. We didn't complain about the red card as well, the rules say when the player is with the last defender, but in that time 2 players where in the same line and they can easily stop Yassir. So it should be a yellow card. We were mad? Razzaq Farhan was mad because he didn't play, it was a retirement tournament for him but he didn't play. So it was a revenge talk no more no less. We learned complaining from you, didn't you complain about our u-16 team? Didn't you complain about Qatar Olympic team and the Sudanese player? didn't you complain about Thailand? you made a funny story about it... a maid stole jewels or gold or something like that so you won't play in Thailand's group in the Asian cup. lol. You think you have the right to complain and we don't? What is the matter? the u-16 team? I mean seriously it's an under 16 game, you're not even supposed to care about the result because it's about preparing future players. SEE. I'm repeating your own words. our team got robbed in front of every ones nose. but it seems its okay to be with others but not with me. Isn't it? The letter wasn't written by me. And use glasses it says players not blayers. I hope you see the clips or even the replay so you can know how hilarious the referee was. A real true comedian.
You're complaining now about the penalty, and the Iraqi webforums were full of complaints about EVERYBODY on the planet earth that day. I remember it well. Even some players claimed that they had a deal with the Saudis and that the Saudis renegged on it. I'm just saying you guys never lose a match without making a big controversy. Complaints about over-age players are normal. You can't compare that to whining about refs all the time. Maybe you should take lessons from the Saudi FA about lodging appeals on time. Exactly, you want to test your players against their peers, not against older players. Using an over-age player destroys the whole point of youth tournaments so it's very legitimate to file a proper complaint. 7abibi I know it wasn't written by you (esh shayefni ya3ni?). I said "blayers" as a joke about how bad the author's English was. I'm still waiting for them to be posted. I promise I'll give you my most objective opinion.
Yes I complain every time the other teams cheat. But I'm not complaining every time we lose. If we lose fair and square then I will congrats the winner, I congerated you any way. I agree with what've you said in the issue with Qatar but who said our player was overaged? the goalkeeper name was in the previous competition and it's against the new rules. that's it, that was our mistake. we won fair and square but you dig in the papers just to desperately qualify. the goalkeeper did not even play in the previous competition, he was a the 3rd goalkeeper and sat outfiled with the fans. Go to the AFC u-16 qualifications thread and you will know the whole story. but the point is, you complain too when you know something wrong happen, and this is make no difference of us. so? why you are telling me that? tell the author to fix his English. And even so? you went out of the subject. What is this has to do with the complaining against the referee? Okay bro. I want to know your opinion too. it's only a matter of time just to see the clown's actions. I feel sorry for calling him a clown, he is an Auguste.
Kiss my ass, So what now you cant complain just becouse it makes ous look bad? its better to complain so next time the referre or anyone els take ous serious...and what now you can complain and we dont? u-16? thailand? ect, man shut your ugly mouth, So what if we complain? what do you care about it? and we complain only becouse we have been treated unfair, not like the saudis complain so the way to win become easier
Eh, not too impressed. Player was running at full speed and was obstructed by your keeper so he lost his balance, but even if it was a dive, it's nothing compared to the dramatic acting that Iraqi players do, e.g. two players faking being head-butted in order to get others sent off, or Nash'at aiming for Yasser's ankle. So hateful, it's sad.
