AFC rulling on Iran Vs. N. Korea & Jordan Vs. N.Korea

AFC has decided that N.Korea lost the two games 3/0 in ACQ, for withdrawing against Iran and for not giving the Jordanian National Team Visas to enter N.korea. to play the quillifing Match. So now its official that iran qulify as top of group and jordan in 2nd place on goal difference.

AFC also decided that Iran will play 3 Official Home games without spectators as the result of a fan throughing a firecracker on the pitch in the game against N.Korea, which means that Iran home games in the WCQ will be without fans.

A bit too harsh on the fans though. I wonder what will their reaction be when they are permited to attend the matches.

I dont think the AFC would have gone this far if NK continued to play.

I agree with the last part. AFC couldn't give NK the punishment it deserved without also punishing Iran harshly. But if this prevents incidents like this in the future, it's probably worth it..

Well if the idiot Iranian fan had not thrown the cracker so far onto the pitch none of this would have happend. Smoke bomb are constantly being thrown onto the pitch and there is no consequence from those actions.

This crazy fan will now jeopordize Iran's qualification to the WC. Iran's next three official home matches are all WC qualifying matches.

As an Iranian, I do think the punishment is fair.

I really don't think it matters. Iran doesn't need any fan for their WC qualifying stages considering the opposition.

Iran will definately reach the final qualifications round. Not much worry needed there.

Well KF, our N.T. has broke our hearts one too many times for us to be that optimistic.

Yes as Genmax said, we cannot take anyone lightly. Our side seems to struggle against mediocre Arab sides and there are two in our group. Lately we have played well against KSA and Iraq, but struggle versus UAE, Jordan and Bahrain in critical matches.

I think it will work out better for us without the fans in the stadium because our players always feel under pressure when they play at home and push too hard and play emotionally.

I agree. Did they give any reason for not giving the Jordanian players visas? It is amazing the differences between North and South Korea, isn't it?

That's what happens when you separate twins at birth...
And raise one in a good neighborhood, send it to nice schools, and treat it with love, care, and respect.
And throw the other one in the basement with a rat trap and a lifetime supply of ketchup.

Isn't it called "child abuse"? :D

btw, we only got one game without fans, good job to IFF to raise an issue w/ AFC about the initial judgement. WE ARE GONNA ROCK!! The rest of you can think of the other 3 spots ;)
