I would also like to agree that the AFC is extremely amateurish not giving the player of the year to the actual player of the year. I could've vomited when Tim Cahill didn't get it in 2006 and even more when Nakamura was beaten last year. It's a total joke.

And Park Ji-sung in 2005 when he won the double in Holland with PSV and led the club to the semifinals of the Champions League that year. (And scored a goal against Milan)

This award has been a joke for quite some time now. Neither Seol Ki-hyeon nor Lee Young-pyo deserves to be on that list. They've done absolutely nothing this year. Some of our top players in K-League would've been better nominees.

Only 4 months passed and they already announced the 2008 AFC Player of the Year's final list? I don't think this is the final list, those players probably have 10 or 20 points that's why they are on the list, just wait until December.

hmm.. I have no Idea why you pissed off, I mean only 8 players from the list are Arab and 98% of them have no chance to win it, Actually they have no threat to the other Asian players.

I'm happy to see European based players on the list, this is a good start.

But its still a joke list. Who has ever taken this thing seriously after they decided not to seriously consider European players? ;)

why the hell Nakazawa in that list? I am not saying he has not done anything, if they had to include one player from Japan, they had much better option...
