Quote from http://www.the-afc.com/en/tournaments/clubs/afc-cup/33880-chonburi-v-south-china-reaction I don't know whether above quotes show his "good confidence" or show his arrogance against other two teams (Persipura and East Bengal) To be honest two coaches from HK (Pegasus and South China), both always underestimate SEA clubs except Thailand's and happily both Sriwijaya and Persipura had punched them ... but then they were still producing arrogance statements after the matches.

I think the coach just wanted to lift up his team confidence after the lost and also probably because previously the HK team only played against weaker Indonesian Team such as PSMS Medan (Who relegated in that season) and Persiwa Wamena (Always playing badly outside Wamena)

AFC has decided to shift the AFC Cup game between Yemen’s Al Tilal and Lebanon’s Al Ansar to the neutral venue of Jordan’s Zarqa City due to the prevailing political situation in Yemen http://www.the-afc.com/en/inside-afc/676-afc-news/34064-al-tilal-al-ansar-match-moved-to-jordan
AFC announced that Persipura has gained permission to shift its home games from Gelora Bung Karno Stadium to Mandala Stadium.... after the tournament has started.... Steven Lo of South China is unhappy but said there is nothing they can do. They have no information about Mandala Stadium and there are no daily flights to the town. South China will send its assistant manager over to see what everything is like.
<The Standard> Party can wait for birthday boy Mateja Kezman has put his birthday celebration on hold as South China seek to secure the points against East Bengal of India in a crunch AFC Cup Group H match tonight at Hong Kong Stadium. The Serbian strike star turned 32 yesterday and his wish is for the Caroliners to finally kick-start their bid to progress from the group stage after a stuttering start to their campaign. "My birthday wish is to score some goals and help South China to victory," said Kezman. He added that he did not intend to watch this morning's (HK time) Champions League match between Manchester United and his former team Chelsea to get more rest for the East Bengal match. Coach Chan Ho-yin has vowed an all-out attack against a side who have conceded eight goals in two matches. South China are desperate for their first win after a 1-1 home draw with Indonesia's Persipura Jayapura was followed by a 3-0 defeat at Thai side Chonburi. East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan played for the Caroliners in 1991-92 but will now be looking to spring a surprise on the home side. TSW Pegasus will also be looking to get their campaign back on track in Group F when they take on VB of Maldives in Male. Pegasus are coming off a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at home to Indonesian side Sriwijaya. NG KA-KI

The Standard Double delight Ng Ka-Ki Mateja Kezman fired South China to a 1-0 win over East Bengal of India at Hong Kong Stadium last night, injecting life into the Caroliners' quest for AFC Cup glory after a stuttering start to their campaign. Kezman, who turned 32 on Tuesday, scored the winner in the 69th minute although South China were indebted to goalkeeper Yapp Hung-fai, who made several crucial saves to preserve the SAR champions' first win in Group H. TSW Pegasus won 5-3 at VB of Maldives in Group F, with Leandro Carrijo Silva completing a hat-trick in nine first-half minutes, to complete a big day for Hong Kong teams. "It feels so good to score," Kezman said. "It was a difficult situation. It's not easy when you always have two or three defenders around you." The former Serbia international was full of praise for Yapp, saying the Hong Kong 'keeper has the potential to play for bigger overseas teams and deserves a chance to get a trial at European clubs. The result was just the response coach Chan Ho-yin demanded from his side after their 3-0 mauling at Thai side Chonburi and it put them back in contention for a place in the next round ahead of the return match in East Bengal on April 26. Kezman will miss that match after getting his second yellow card of the tournament, but he will be available for crunch matches against Persipura Jayapura on May 3 and Chonburi on May 10. Indonesian side Persipura lead the group on seven points after their 3-0 win over Chonburi last night, with the Thais and the Caroliners on four.

Li, returning from an injury, did not play when South China beat East Bengal 1-0 at home and Chan is hoping his presence will unsettle the Indians in their AFC Cup clash which kicks off at 5pm (HK time). Strike star Mateja Kezman is suspended for the Group H match, with Michael Cheng Lai-hin likely to fill the breach. The Caroliners sit third in the group with four points from three games, level on points with second-placed Chonburi of Thailand. TSW Pegasus will try to boost their bid for a place in the next round when they play VB of Maldives at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground at 8pm. Pegasus are second in Group F on six points, one behind Sriwijaya of Indonesia, and will be favorites to repeat over VB who they beat 5-3 in Male. NG KA-KI
