Qantas by far is the damn best and they keep the beer and wine flowing. Worst: probably Air France; we'll see how Aer Lingus and Icelandic Air compare come April/May
The best airplane meal I ever had was surprisingly a delicious curry on a long-haul flight. The worst? Well, let's just say it involved mystery meat and a mushy side salad. However, after a few not-so-great experiences with airplane food, I started bringing my own snacks. Nowadays, I pack my organic natural foods for the journey. Also, nuts and healthy dried fruits are my go-to options – they keep my energy up and satisfy my hunger without resorting to the not-so-healthy alternatives on board. It's a win-win!
