Don't know how they will survive but here is the latest on the saga that is Greek football... http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=reu-greeceaek&prov=reuters&type=lgns
That is a shame indeed. Shades of the Chelsea saga there which involve Ken Bates-Stanley Tollman-Swan management and the FBI. One thing that is going for the club though-and this may sound strange, but, think about it-is the fact that it is such a huge amount of money.Obviously he can't have spent that kind of money in such a short period of time so the chances of recuperating a substancial amount of it would seem good.
The situation finally looks better. Makis Psomiadis, finally sold his share (yes, he was allowed to make even more money out of it and walk... , but ofcourse, hopefully the charges against him will lead to something). He sold his share to ENIC, the company which used to own the shares 2-3 years ago. AEK is still in debt and trouble but hopefully from now on the situation will be managed in a more financially sound way. Lakis, our right winger just signed a new contract and ENIC is beginning talks with other unsettled or out of contract players. Good signs but not yet a certain recovery.
