Brooke O’Hanley's Progress

O’Hanley, meanwhile, concentrated on making decisions quicker and allowing a tad more space for faster players. The undrafted defender/midfielder also set goals to help her progress from the beginning of pre-season to the start of the regular season.

“It was just my attitude that I wanted to play in the league and that I would just work as hard as I could to get into the league. And once I got into the league, I wanted to just continue to work really hard to get playing time,” said O’Hanley. “Then after that I wanted to start.”

Brooke's plan of action worked quite well for her last season. Her playing continued to increase during the season and then in the end she had the honor of starting in the Founder's Cup Final and even put the ball in the back of net, but was unlucky when her first half goal was disallowed.
