Please if anyone sees any advertising for the Super Cup with Juve/Milan let us know!! (ledger, herald news, oggi, gente, etc)
In the New York Times, Tuesday, 6/17: "ChampionsWorld, the outfit promoting Manchester United's summer tour, will soon announce the the Italian Super Cup between AC Milan (the Champions League winner) and Juventus (the winner of Serie A) will be played August 3 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ."
www.sportsya.com they have a link about the supercup and say its going to be played at giants stadium
Tickets for the Italian Super Cup go on sale as follows: At TicketMaster on Friday, June 27, starting at 11AM. At Giants Stadium on Saturday, June 28, starting at 11AM This is according to their websites.
I received a letter from the Metros about the Supercup. Tix are ranging from $35 to $85. Metromembers get first dibs, blah, blah, blah. I also received an email from Giants Stadium for group tickets. Hopefully the game'll have an afternoon start.
According to the letter received, it mentioned a 2:30 pm start amd Metro Member presale from 6/26 through 7/3. No mention of a limit on number of tickets because ordered through TicketMaster.
Well the presale is goin off with the usual ticketmaster confusion. The number they give seems to only offer Dragontales or Dennis Miller tickets. Are they players on AC Milan?
I don't think it's a secret, so here it is: You must call the SuperCup Hotline at 516-922-9463. The password is "metros2003". It says that they will answer all questions at that number as well.
Thats not what my letter said... Code: SCORE And they ask for your season ticket account number. I got (2) Section110 Row 4.... a bit too close for me. If anyone has Section110 rows higher than 12 and wanna trade let me know.
Update: The internet pre-sale is on today (Friday). You can buy from TicketMaster locations starting at 12 noon tomorrow (Saturday).
Is it me, or do these people give you the highest price available for each range? example: upper is 35-45 well, i pick upper level, put in the password, and they give you 45 dollars tix. where are the 35 dollar ones???
good seats are available for all sections but check out how much these losers are selling it for on EBAY............$300+for 1 ticket thats sad
Great seats are still available. Just got (11AM Saturday) Section 130, Row 3. This is field level at midfield behind the team benches. If you pay cash by going to a TicketMaster location in person, the service charge is $7.10. Too steep, of course. But purchasing with a credit card is more and phone or internet orders are even higher, I believe. Don't miss out!
Approximately 15,000 tickets were sold over the weekend and all parties expect a sellout. http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?/base/sports-0/105704084225790.xml
