Why is this game at such a dumb time? Argh. I'll miss at least the first half, and probably the whole thing.

There's supposedly going to be a stream tomorrow. We'll see, I guess. I think these CdL games are on France...I don't remember the number. 2 or 3, probably. Anyway, at some point I'd found a stream for those channels.

The cup matches are great, because all the Americans riding benches across Europe get to play!

I don't remember these Coupe de la Ligue matches being televised on anything but pay channels (that I never got when I lived in France). That said, streams for French games of all sorts have been few and far between so far this season.

I went ahead and checked PSG.fr, and apparently the game is on France2. Which, for those of you who don't know, means that a lot of people will have access to the game, and it's probably more likely that there will be a stream available.

Huh. Good to know. Also good to know that my memory is hazy at midnight.

Three cheers for the possibility of a stream, though. :D

I only remembered because of the separately sponsored jerseys teams have for this competition (and the Coupe de France), and those have logos fro France 2 and 3 on them.

[result]and most of them end up going home within the first couple games (look at todays scores 9/23).[/result] adu better play.

and this whole time i thought that loans were so the player loaned could get some playing time.

Pokrivac ou Diaz is a very intersting name - must come from a blend of cultures - and Pino sounds like he belongs on the bench.

Folks, that second link is working; the first is only available to people in France, Andorra, or Monaco.

French commentators giving a positive account of Freddy's starting role. Calling him the "young American star" who hasn't reached his potential yet.

Hope that's not too critical.... :D
