I hope someone can talk some sense into him because he is on the verge of greatness. All he needs is a little more seasoning and what better way to get that than play for the MLS four time and hopefully five time MLS Champion.

Here's something else about the article before your brain explodes:

The AP had an article that ran at the same time (the USA Today link). I suspect that this wouldn't have hit the papers if it was only Goff, but since some other guy was there, and probably eating it all up, Goff, and the Post have a need to get it out as well.

Goff is one of the best if not THE best soccer writers at a major newspaper. It would do nothing for the Post or Goff if he gets scooped by some AP guy IN DC.

I thought that he was too specialized a player. There's just no room in MLS anymore for a combination Goalkeeper/Striker that only plays in overtime.
