They're only through 1.5 games out of 6 at this stage. It's probably a little early worry about that. Now, if they lose this one and don't take 3 pts from Celtic, then it's time to hit the panic button.
well in response to that, after this game shakhtar and milan if they win will be sitting on 6pts... and benfica will have 0 pts... if they don't turn it around and fast, so still a little early to think about the uefa cup???
Very true and I think they have to push for a result here because that is a decent hole. But if you look towards the next match day and see Shakhtar lose away to Milan (which they should) and Benfica win at home against Celtic (which they certainly can) then it's only 6pts to 3. At this point Benfica has the advantage of having already played the top team in the group. In that way, if Benfica are able to come back and get a draw (although things may have changed since I started typing) you might even have to say they would be in a better position with 1pt having played Milan than Shakhtar would be with 4pts but two matches to play v Milan.
I think that might be a good substitution... but di maria was playing really good so maybe someone other than him... but binya definitely needed to get on the field...
