So I guess you now have proof of bribes for WP's. I won't say these guys are the most upstanding citizens in the British Empire, but they are innocent until proven guilty. Also since they are basically protecting their fellow citizens' job it would be quite the poor bastard who sells out his own countrymen.
No, it was a rhetorical comment about politicians and bureacrats always looking out for "what's best". It won't be the poor shmuck pushing the paper around that sees any bribe anyway. It will be some politician that has pull with the WP commitee that will suddenly have a new car, large amounts "donated" to their reelection funds, etc... As I also said in the post, there is far more than bribing. Given a good (i.e. expensive) legal team with some really creative ideas (i.e. more expensive) and some time (i.e. really expensive), there are loop holes in any law or guideline. -dave
