    I don't think the adiPower was "bulky", which proves you can have a mostly leather "power" boot and it is still light. The average Sunday league player ranges from not caring at all to being obsessed with boots; that is a crap excuse from the rep. Also, those Sunday league players he is thumbing his nose at, are helping keep him and adidas from becoming a distant second to Nike in sales.

    I am not shocked that this was said, I mean, they aren't going to admit that they crapped the bed before this shoe (amazingly) gets a two year life cycle (after replacing their best shoe since the Maina after 10 months). adidas should focus on not making crappy shoes that fall apart. After that, they can figure out that Nike will always "out-Nike" them.

    My season just finished, and I was playing under 18 football - so now I'm a free agent...But I've got a trial at quite a big club tomorrow, not sure I'll get it but I'm optimistic, and I've had a bit of interest from a couple of A-League teams and German ones!

    yeah it was a prize that adidas did for a few different websites, I entered and didn't win a pair - winners got a personalised pair of boots like messi's but obviously not in leather as MiAdidas don't make them in leather

    There was a close up of Messi's boots in the game last night, and i didnt see any sort of personalisation on his boots at all, but looking at the gold ones the messi is so tiny i probably wouldnt have seen it!

    Even though they arent the exact ones, they still look a good colourway.

    hmm that colour scheme makes me optimistic that they may release the colour way that Kaka wore in training the other day, that was the nicest one I've seen by far!

    Would be nice, but I highly doubt they're releasing that colorway. There just isn't enough brand recognition on the boot. And I haven't seen that colorway anywhere besides on Kaka.

    I believe I'm really late to this, but are the new Predator's not going to be leather? That video makes them seem all like synthetics or are those just SL versions?

    Looks like we're going to see a ton of people stock up on the Predator X. I know now I'm going to be getting at least one more pair. (Probably the Slime colorway)

    yeah it will be the same synthetic that covers about 75% of the Adipower and leather Adizero - both boots only have actual leather on the forefoot and to be honest, I do feel a difference with the 'leather synthetic' in terms of touch to the actual synthetic on my adizeros

    Wow...like finally Singapore updated their Adidas website? But what sucks is that they do not even offer an online purchase service though our country is small.

    Kaka tweeted a photo of his predators he's been seen training in this week

    said he will be wearing them for the next 2 games - which implies the LZ will go on general release at the start of may
