    Adidas soccer socks are horrible

They are too small on my feet, and I bought the biggest size. I'm 14 for cryin' out loud. That and they are so annoying when you put them on. You have to stretch them as far as you can and then they fall down the whole time.

    Anybody else feel my pain?

What socks should I buy that wont have this happen? Something thick, not paper thin like Adidas.

Older Nike socks (the ones with a single stripe) are the best socks. The other older style (hoop style) are also good, but I find they are smaller and thinner. The newer style (solid or with many thin stripes) fall down more and have more friction. They also dry a lot slower.

depends on which adidas sock. i like the equipment (which are a little thin but very comfortable) and cordoba. most of the other ones i dont like. other ones worth trying are the diadora bellagio and nike mercurial. if you're real concerned about them being thick you can get one of the no-name cheap socks that are really thick (i.e. some of the eurosport brand ones or just go to a sports store and get one of the monochromatic cheapies). you can get 3 pairs for under 10 bucks in some cases and they're functional if not real stylish. they tend to be a little much in hot weather tho.
