Morales has been decent. Fink and Stoger, the two CMs in Fortuna who are the ones in charge of creating something, have been useless: mostly back-passing or turning it over. And as I type that Fink gets replaced by Hennings.
For the role he's playing his forward passing in the attacking third is a bonus and shouldn't be weighted the same as the main KPIs of a holding midfielder.
Love ya my man...but that’s the most rose colored glasses I’ve ever seen. All good, we are all loving him being on the field right now. Nothing but positives.
No it's more about what I want and what I need from my dual sixes. He's not on the field as an attacking midfielder. He's on the field to win the ball and retain position in the middle of the field.
It's pretty easy to look good in a 4-0 win, but even accounting for that, Adams is having a fantastic game. You can't ask for much more from a debut.
Other times I've criticized Morales for not doing enough. Today he's been told to stay back, and that is not working for Fortuna: Morales can create more than these guys they have put in the box-to-box roles. For the first time in a long time I find myself wondering what Fredo could do on a better team. Timo Werner finally touched a ball. Yay, I guess.
Top notch one on one defending to stop the transition. Gets his body in the perfect spot and gobbles up the ball....again.
Anytime i watch leipzig its very hard for me not to think about the greatest usmnt lover evrr: terrance boyd.
I havent really watched this team before but is there much meaning, other than the obvious that the other #6 came off first
