Tyler Adams begins the match on the bench behind the trio of Sabitzer, Laimer, and Kampl.

The match kicks off at 3 PM EDT on CBS All Access and Univision.

Bummer he's on the bench. Probably will play, though.

    Aaannnnnd they're off.

3 attackers for PSG: Neymar, Mbappe and DiMaria. Those guys can move, for sure.

It's difficult to imagine a game scenario that would exclude Adams entirely.

Down 1-0 after Marquinhos heads in a nicely placed free kick from Di Maria. Red Bull getting outplayed, but on the positive side, they keep fouling Neymar hard.

Great run/pass by Laimer.... too bad Poulsen couldn't put that in.

At the rate Neymar is being fouled I assume at least one of Kampl, Laimer or Sabitzer will be on a yellow before the half.

I actually think Adams' pressing would be good for this situation.

2-0, brilliant Neymar assist, nice first touch and placed shot by Di Maria from inside the penalty spot. RBL need something; it's all over the field that they're being either somewhat outplayed or notably outplayed. Wouldn't be shocked to see a personnel or formation change at the half.

The game was a little too big for Leipzig.

Also they were not getting much out of the Ngkuku position and probably would have been better off with an extra dmid like Adams to start and bring Nkuku on more forward after the game was in hand defensively.

Tuchel was ready for Nagelsman's plan. They were at the same club at one point and know each other well, they say.

Red Bull should sub in Werner.

No disrespect to Tuchel, but he also has the better squad and basically just has them playing their own game. I don't see any particular tactical cleverness here - it wasn't called for.

Leipzig have 0 width on the right side, didn't Sabitzer play as RW or RM? PSG have 3 CM's one has mainly played as a CB, they will have more opportunities out wide than through central midfield. Laimer is fine out wide, but not if you are trying to get to the CL final.

Yeah. Kampl gave the ball away a few times in the 1st half. I think he might be the one subbed out instead of Laimer. Hoping Adams is in at the half. Too bad the keeper screwed the pooch. 1-0 seems possible to overcome... but 2-0? What a mountains to climb.

Maybe Adams is the next one in? I guess there's an implied formation change here.

Formation is definitely livelier.... but D is still poor. Adams should have been brought in.

Mukiele didn't just fall down, he was clipped from behind.

That was a foul by Bernat, he came down right on Mukiele's leg. How the ref missed that, I don't know. Leipzig still need to play until the whistle

It is kind of a bummer that Adams literally gives them the game winner but is going to get zero minutes on the pitch with the chance to change the outcome. He deserved the start IMO.
