    It. Will. Not. Happen.

    Liverpool GK's:

    Reina
    Cavalieri
    Gulacsi
    Bouzanis
    Mihaylov
    Hansen

Bouzanis and Gulacsi both have the potential to be better than Federici, while Mihaylov is fairly experienced for a young player and Hansen isnt too bad either. On top of that, Cavalieri is a very good back-up GK.

Federici will be the second striker to Torres...scored more goals this season than Voronin

Would be a crazy move for him. He's the starting keeper for Reading now, it would be terrible for his career to go back to bench warming again.

Starting for Reading > being 3rd or 4th keeper at Liverpool.

no doubt about it, Liverpool is a wrong move but a move should be inevitable for Federici if the Reading situation isn't flourishing.

I find that hard to believe. I guess it may be true, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Italy have got plenty of top class keepers to choose from.

I agree. Pretty sure he's got the no.2 spot sewn up anyway TBH.

He'd be my pick for no.2. Pim has favoured Petkovic though, and Galekovic is probably still challenging. Can't see many other contenders.

Brad Jones could be an outside contender as he has found his way back into the #1 spot at Boro again.

In a recent article in ITYS Magazine, he spoke about how he is willing to sit around and wait and work hard until he is noticed as the potential number 1 for the Socceroos. It would have been great for Federici if Reading went up to the premiership because he could have then really competed with Schwarzer for that number 1 spot.
