6 in 7 but La Liga is the league that's criticized for being a 2 team league. EPL is a 1 team league but marketed like it's not.
Heard a guy that covers Bayern say that against Heidenheim, the team went into the halftime really cool and Tuchel was telling them Heidenheim would switch on, change formation and defend differently but the players didn't listen while Heidenheim lined up in the second half exactly like he told them. Kimmich said he's never met a coach that reads and breaks down opponents style and tactics better than Tuchel.
So happy for Xabi and Leverkusen. Amazing achievement. Just extraordinary. His team bought in fully and its paid huge dividends for them.
They've had some exciting League finishes lately, and there's more interesting teams quite honestly. People here follow spanish football and could most likely name more starting lineup players in Premier League clubs than Spanish clubs.
Arsenal also 0-0 so far. Their fans are also insufferable but atleast feels like the lesser of the 2 evils between them and City. oh ffs Arsenal losing too now. The Empire wins again
Leverkusen have had the perfect season. There is no way i would tell you a team would sign Xhaka and he'd be a tone setter and a crucial player for a team that wins the double, potentially a triple in 2024. Xabi said the other day that he requested certain players and the club cooperated with him real well in signing players he feels like were needed, Xhaka was somebody he requested by name as a priority.
He has an amazing footballing mind. If only he found a way to improve his human side he could have been a manager at a big club for a long long time. But sometimes what makes people special also makes them less compatible with others.
Bayer Neverlusen!! I like that. Amazing achievement for their club, players and Xabi Alonso. Special year. Wirtz scores another one. Fans are running into the pitch with 10 mins still left. Players asking them to go back so game can resume. It’s gonna be a crazy party.
What's strange to me is that at Dortmund, the relationship broke because he sided with the players against the club. I also think Bayern were irredeemable at the point that he went there, nothing could help. Hoeneß actually blamed the CVC protests for the club losing the title, some people really need to take multiple steps back from publicity.
They are going to get some huge offer for Witrtz this summer which they’ll have to at least think about. He’s amazing. They’ll get offers for others too like Frimpomg and Palacios. Edit: Look at Rudi Voller all smiles. Good for him.
Arsenal are just pathetic, they are also going to lose to Bayern on Tuesday. I guess we are the only hope so City won't celebrate another trebal.
