Question is why would anybody want to be there. That's why I wonder why people think Xabi is such a hot number for that job, why wouldn't you go to Liverpool instead?
For the same reason anyone would take a high ranking high position high stress job. Money, reputation, success, CV.
Liverpool has all of those. Best league in the world, traditional powerhouse, arguably one of the best home fields in the world. Liverpool is an amazing club to coach. I'd consider it an honor. He has history at the club, he'd get the time needed. I consider him a weird guy if he doesn't take that.
Commercially the Premier League is at another level. I also think their stadiums and the fan support is the best in Europe.
And the money just not the quality but yeah Liverpool is a no brainer. question, Luis Diaz is a favorite of Klopp due to his running, pressing, and creativity. He does lack goals for his position what style does Xabi use? Will Lucho need to look for a new team?
From what I've heard Liverpool expect the next coach to mostly work with what's there, and that's what will be communicated to the next coach, there will be changes, but this isn't a job opportunity where somebody comes in and changes the team completely. I'd like to see Xavi get the Liverpool job. He fits them perfectly.
Nagelsmann saying Klopp got 5 years at Liverpool to win, Guardiola got 7 years to win a CL at City, but I was supposed to win right away in Munich. He's partially right, but also, that's the same in many situations, if he goes to Barca for example, they will not give him 5 years to win either. It comes with certain jobs in the business.
Uhhhmmm so what about the fan support and stadiums in Germany, if outside of commercially that determines the best league, since the actual football doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it
I thought it was a logical conclusion that the football is levels better. At least to any sane person. To quote a German journalist "the reason we don't get a lot of broadcast right offers at the level that we would want to is because nobody in New York or Los Angeles will sit and watch Bochum and Augsburg when Liverpool, Tottenham or Chelsea is playing" I think any coach choosing a Bundesliga club over any top Premier League club to not be trustworthy.
It’s a stain on modern day society that these influencer goons can share a park with legends of the game with free reign to do nonsense like this Clown shouldve been immediately slapped off the park https://t.co/rzRKWtxOVa— 𝘿𝙄𝙂𝘽 (@_DIGB) February 23, 2024
I see Alonso going to Liverpool. It will show what he can do when there is more than just 1 other top team in the league. If he does well, maybe Tio Florentino gives him a call.
That youtuber is Ishowspeed and he's a clown. He did the Siuuuuu celebration when he won some top streamer award. I agree. That moron belongs nowhere near someone as great as Kaka. If I were Kaka's (or any celebrity's) reps, I'd never have that dude anywhere near him.
I don't really think they'll spend big going forward, by that I mean going to the Mbappe/Neymar/Messi heights.
He was invited at the Balon DOr ceremony as well. The business in football just looks at his numbers and the audience and say "hey, here's our chance to connect with another market". Football is mostly a circus anyway. Nothing about it is serious.
They would be doing Barca a massive favour paying that much money for a player like Gavi. I bet Laporta is starting those rumors himself.
Guardiola took over a team that achieved wonders under Heynckes, and was asked by Heynckes himself to take over, not a Chaos club that's going to hire a new team director in March, and start all the way from the beginning. Liverpool is a superior job offer in every way. Plus, Xabi is already in Germany. Going to Bayern would be a lateral move. Guardiola went to the Premier League after coach in Germany. Why should Xabi not do the same?
Should have got his ass beat. Society as a whole is much worse and the world is declining due to the "contributions" social media has given us all.
