It's shameful that a 2nd place club in the top flight of Spanish football will be displaying trophies they didn't win, but rather of a team from another country.

Not that any of that will help Alves since he's 40. I'm guessing he has enough money to get by just fine for however much longer he lives, but any post-playing career aspirations related to football that he might have had are gone.

About Carlo he says that Carlo is unique in the game, actually being pretty relaxed and low on discipline and authority, even though he does get angry with the team at times, the dynamic works that the team is all united as one and everybody is working towards the same direction.

Says he never even dreamed of playing for Real Madrid, he felt like his limit was to become a Premier League player, but to succeed at Chelsea and then play for Real Madrid is a bonus for years of hard work.

It may be weird to you as Carlo thumps Tuchel. But Tuchel's coaching is what made him kick-start his career at that point. For some people, that person will forever be their favorite. You could see Henry say Wenger was his favorite, but as much as he's despised Pep is a better one. But Wenger made Henry make himself.

I never liked his personality myself, but there is a sizable gap from being an asshole to being a rapist.

I heard he might be free in 2 year time. He should again feel very fortunate if so. Pretty sure he will also appeal this decision.

Regarding his football, he was exceptionally talented. However, he always struck me as a nihilist; he considered anything beneficial to him as right and anything problematic as unequivocally wrong. While all footballers are bit like that, he was undeniably a sore loser, which is an interesting trait for someone who has reached the pinnacle of success and expected universal praise.
