This went back to my original post. I said he was good in Madrid for a single season. Then, he flopped in Manchester United, My whole point was that Manchester United overpaid for him. That was it.

But overall, I still think Di Maria has a good career.

 

Honestly, I don't see any team other than Real Madrid beating Man City to repeat of the UCL. Do you? If so, who and why?

 

Treble winning teams tend to lose motivation easily. I reckon theyde get c*cked in the quarter or semis by a well organized defensive team.

 

Maybe Arsenal or Bayern with Kane, but I agree with what you said. All teams in Europe just seem to be below par at the moment, even us (because of the lack of a striker and Vini looking like he's going to have a mediocre season).

 

It is important to stop Man City to repeat because Madrid should be the only team that own that record. Right now, I can only see Bayern or Real Madrid having any decent chance of stopping them.
