Now each one of these can obviously happen in a tournament. Even two can happen and it can be considered as the usual refereeing incompetence or general big country favorization. But five? And three that completely change the course of the game in quarterfinals, semifinals and finals???

(not to mention a whole bunch of other mistakes in Argentina's favor, unlike for anyone else in the tournament)

I already see 4x4 made his usual dumb argument that Argentina was better in the finals as if somehow that justifies being given a penalty. How little do you have to understand about the game to think that a goal in the finals at 0-0 completely changes the flow of the game. A team like France can be completely outplayed and still score on one counter. A bogus penalty changes the entire dynamic, morale, gameplan, and from there its just a chaos, as it was, and from that chaos Argentina emerged a winner.

In a way, turning a game in which one side is the favorite (regardless how it plays, France were shit against Morocco too, they always do as much as they need in order to win) into chaos, is improving the underdog's odds.

I don't know if it was all rigged but it was consistently shambolic refereeing consistently in clear favor of one team, unlike it was for any other team. If that team won, theres a massive asterisk on its victory, pretty simple.
