Jan Sommer fits so good with Bayern. Incredible. His character really resonates with what bayern represent.

I'm sorry but taking bribes from the Saudis to lose the first game and from then on getting a soft penalty headstart by the 40th minute in nearly all the games is NOT rigging. It isn't even remotely suspicious.

FIFA might be as corrupt as an organization can get and blatantly sells WC hosting rights to nations/FAs but this is where they draw the line, they DO NOT sell the actual cup to serve geopolitical agendas.

Football is an honest, squeaky-clean sport.

Without anybody specific being mentioned, if you think the world cup was fixed to Argentina's favor I think you shouldn't be allowed to vote and operate vehicles and heavy machinery.

The exact same bizarroreality the brain dead Fans live in we make fun of.

People who question the international footballing system set and enforced by wagyu-eating wine-sipping private jet-flapping billionaires shouldn't be given access to healthcare, clean water or an education let alone be allowed to vote or use transportation.

It's not like these same elite fixed the WC hosting rights in favor of Qatar, Russia and South Africa in some remote Swiss town.

Having an educated observational opinion based on a series of successive suspicious events makes you a brain-dead fan that the populous will laugh at.

Even being a rival Brazilian, I'd say there was nothing suspicious about Argentinalty's WC title ... :sneaky:

You probably should boycott and not watch the WC then. Why would anyone watch something they think it's fixed.

I actually didn't watch a single game after Brazil was knocked-out.

    I wouldn't know.

I've seen you many times praising Barca's defense/record, while voicing frustration and other emotions at Real Madrid. But looking at your post here, it sure sounds like Barca - if Barca was as unlucky as Real Madrid has clearly been (opponents seem to score every half chance against us) - could have been some points behind us. At some point, the tables may turn and we may start winning 1-0 and they may start losing 0-1. I hope you praise us as much as you have praised them over the last few months.

No conspiracy, but for me, the refs were under extreme pressure to not be the guy who sent someone off and keeping Messi from winning a world cup.

That's part and parcel with the game though, big players and teams get the calls.

If Cameroon plays like Argentina they are finishing most matches with 9 players.

You're like someone who believes the WWE is real wrestling.

This was probably the most rigged WC event in recent history. Even the organizers prior to the World Cup 'dreamed' of seeing Messi win the World Cup in their home nation [Qatar]. Moreover, the FIFA president also agreed that it would be a shame if Messi retired without winning it. Guess who won it on what is probably their last WC?

The amount of penalties they were granted, the way referees turned a blind away from anything their players did that was despicable [see Parades vs Netherlands], and how they got their ideal final of Messi vs Mbappe. It was all rigged for them to win the WC. I even highly suspect they wanted the final to be exciting, dramatic, etc [hence the 3-3 scoreline]. It's all a show to make them feel special about it being hosted in Qatar.

Heck look at their pre-World Cup promotional video; notice the 2 remaining teams?

Believe me I’m the last one to praise them. It’s derive from my hate towards them. They our are prime rival and I want to see them losing and suffering always as was with Kuman. I always thought and wish that post messi , Barca will return to be like ‘Arsenal’, ‘Milan’, team.. Messi was big reference and difference in La liga since he joined the 1st team. So I hoped this will end after his departure.
The 8-2 was one of my happiest days

I sometimes switched over to beIN Sports Arabic to listen to their post-game discussions and debates. Their script and overall narrative, after all, must be OKed by the Qatari government as the owner of the channel and well the country and everything that happens within it.

Surely enough, after the interesting loss vs Saudi, multiple commentators and panel members were making sure everyone knew: "Argentina WILL win the WC despite losing their opener", their level of certainty when simpletons weren't even sure Argentina would make it out of their group was suspicious to say the least.

This was essentially the Emir telling you who will receive his Bisht (Gulf region cloak) three weeks later.

    2014 I stopped watching after 7-1.
2018 I stopped watching after Brazil x Belgium.
