They can't even see how flimsy they are are.. total prisoners of the moment and ironically show significant mental weakness which is what most complain about the players.

I think what excites some them the most isn't the team but the transfer window

Yep. It's weird. I sometimes think they want failure because for them that equates to new players.

CR would definitely contribute some goals but I don’t think he makes any difference in how many trophies we lift.

    Hard pass for me.

I don’t particularly like Rodrygo as a 9 but if Benz can’t play just roll with him IMO.

This sounds a more logical short term solution.

Dreading a possible CR7 because of feels is terrible decision making.

The club has already confirmed he is just using the facilities and a transfer/signing is not on the cards. What am I missing here?

    Cristiano leaves Madrid for Dubai.

In other news, Biscuits just announced international retirement.

Little stunt didn't pull apparently. Spanish dailies speculating that he did it to create a bit of momentum/interest but it didn't do much. Sad state of affairs.

The obsession and continual posting over Cristiano’s every move is a sad state of affairs.

Heavy blow to the club presidents, agents and others in power who have benefited from this corrupt system which emptied club's profits and revenues into their greedy hands.

Anybody with a functioning brain cell could tell you that having an agent who represented both the club and the player had a huge conflict of interest.

The interests don’t merely conflict, they are diametrically opposed. The club wants to pay the least amount possible, the player wants to be paid the most possible.

Each party should have its own agents and each party should pay their own agents. Agents taking a cut of the transfer fee is just a stupid way of doing things.

Transfer fees are an aberration too, but that’s another story.

All this means is that players will demand more in signing fees or whatever just to compensate them paying their own agents. Pointless for a player-agent relationship

This isn't true. If the amount paid is limited by a small percentage then there isn't enough money that could make up that difference.

What this will do is make many agents move to different careers while stopping all the shady theft and money washing going on in the sport.

This is a very good step in the right direction

Ah, so the rule is actually for agents to only be allowed a set percentage of the transfer rather than a demand of whatever they want?

That is just an assumption I am making. What we do know is there will be commission caps.

Most of the players are absolutely incapable of opening a bank account or signing on for a mobile phone plan without the help of an agent.

The agents will be A OK.

Big Agencies run multiple companies. You have the biggest agency in Germany having another leg n the Netherlands owned by a son in law that operates as an independent company in a different legal space (rules for taking U18 players under contract are different there for example) but really is just another leg of the same business.

What i assume clever minds will do is have multiple companies represent multiple sides of the deal. Another wonderful way to do this is to have a deal with an agent of another agency to cooperate with you on Deal A while you cooperate with him on Deal Band we're all eating. Worst case scenario you have even more people at the table to feed.

It's absolutely naive to think this hurts the big agencies. The ones feeling the impact the most from this are the parents that are get paid "agent fees" by default, so maybe that's why Endrick Snr was trying to get this one wrapped up ASAP.
