sorry next time I will just ask how we sell tickets in Dallas, if KC should rebrand, or what percentage of MLS fans dislike the name and badge for Columbus.

Is your self image so poor that you can't accept a compliment to something you created?

Classics are classics for a reason.

Edit: Combining game reports from MLSSoccer and ESPN (MLS missing SOG for LA-NE) show the following shots on goal stats vs LA: NE - 0, Chivas - 2, Houston - 0. So it appears possible and one save on a shot not on goal?

New England had 1 shot on goal in the game against LA on 3/27/10
Chivas USA had 2 shots on goal in the game against LA on 4/1/10
Dynamo had 0 shots on goal in the game against LA on 4/10/10

I found these stats in game reports on the web, not the MLS site.

so basically if Rickett didnt show up for any of those games and the Galaxy would still be undefeated.

With this Galaxy defense, Ricketts may be able to break Meola's shutout record of 16 in a season.

I knew I could be the starting goalkeeper for the LA Galaxy and they'd still be successful...

    Sign me up, Bruce!

chivas has face a grand total of 5 sog, kc has faced 6, rsl 8, and so on. I think it's more of a fact that with all the thug play in this league, the mls just isn't a very offensive league rather than la's defense being so great. not that they aren't good, they are, but the mls just doesn't have many offensive teams.

all of that may be true but it is still amazing to think that one club has faced three shots on goal in three matches. It boggles my mind to no end-

Kansas City has shot 26 times, 19 times on goal in two games.

The difference between defensive and offensive quality in MLS must be due to "thug play", huh? Wankr.

Yeah, but he'd still need the trainers to stop by and fix him up at least once during the game.

Now that is funny, and I am a Galaxy fan. It is so true. He is good, but man does he roll around on the ground a lot.

I believe it's been 3.25 goals per game so far this year. There's been plenty of offense, Ricketts just hasn't seen any of it.

Our defense has been like a vice so far this year. Plus Chivas couldn't hit the target from 18 inches out when we played them. That's why so few shots on goal and saves.

And this is maybe the greatest thread title ever. Very informative.
