This has been a strange year for college soccer. Perennial powerhouses and ranked teams seem to drop like flies weekly.

Everyone says the ACC is down this year. Well if the ACC is down, where do you place the Big East?

The two conferences have met head to head 10 times this year with the ACC holding a 9-1 record.

    Maryland
    Wins: Georgetown 3-2, UConn 4-0
    Losses: none

    Wake Forest
    Wins: UConn 2-0, St John’s 3-1, Virgina Tech 1-0

    Duke
    Wins: UConn2-1

    Virginia
    Wins: West Virgina 2-1
    Losses: Seton Hall 0-1

    UNC
Wins: St Johns 2-1, UConn 3-0

    NC State: no games

    Clemson: no games

It really makes St. John's hopes of winning it all look next to impossible. They stumble against the ACC teams.
