Early reviews are positive from the locals on the Washington new hire. Roster is in good shape and recruiting has been on the upswing. She is making a great first impression. Any feedback from other hires?
Is there a reason umkc didn’t hire the assistant? Their record over the last several years is excellent and he was there that whole time.
I've heard the same thing from UW. New energy, emphasis on fitness, and way more technical approach to practices.
All sunshine and roses in the first few weeks, the same reports would come out of 90 percent of programs with new hires. I guess the UW seat isn’t hot just yet.
Any word on Jacksonville hire? Heard they started with on campus. Curious to see who they offer, and if they'll accept.
Does anyone know why Greg Sheen left Washington State and who they have hired or may hire as a replacement?
Hofstra asst and Penn asst in for Cornell as Penn. Will be interesting to see who Penn brings in Marist will likely hire another young and up and coming women
Help me understand what you are saying here. Hoftra asst in at Cornell as head coach? Penn asst in at Penn?
Chris at GCU is struggling with the girls per parents on the team. They already had a “legal” incident where one player is facing a felony charge and another player might be leaving because of the incident... rough start.
I believe this is actually a positive! Two or more players that he can now unload and bring in better talent, which he will need to do, GCU is terrible. Easy to revoke scholarships when they break the law or are involved in such mischief.
I agree. Except it was their first team all conference goalkeeper that is in trouble, probably the only player Chris wanted to keep.. luckily they have a good freshman for 2020 committed...
That’s a bit of a stretch. He was hired December 23 rd and there was a Xmas break. so he has seen the players 3 weeks at most. I’m struggling that a felony by a player he has barely met is somehow his fault. do you have details to share?
per my daughter, the spring has been VERY light. Just goofing around and playing games. So a lot of “partying” has been going on with the girls. Apparently one girl is being accused of some very serious crimes against another player on the team while they were all drunk one night.. By no means is this chris’ fault. But there needs to be some structure during the spring to hold the girls accountable. It’s can’t be a free for all.
I'm not going to justify anything the previous coaching staff did there but the problems with that program extend not only to the athletes but the parents. Chris would be smart to clear out not just the toxic players but the toxic parents, take the hit in terms of results for a season, and start afresh with a team filled with better kids and their folks after that.
NO time for a "light" spring. This is the opportunity to clean house! Oh, btw, Chris is going to be found out in the next couple years. He benefitted tremendously from UMKC's location, and affordability.
First thing he should do is find out and cut the kids whose parents get on message boards and air out all the programs dirty laundry.

Heard Penn offered the job to Citowicki at Montana more than once. Turned down both times. Maybe he's holding out for the Pine Bluff job instead
While I am on a roll today (ok I’m new too) I may as well add a potential hot list candidate to 2020. Sean Fraser the new coach at ULM has been contacting athletes via private messages on their social media asking them if they are interested in transferring to his program. And he’s not only done this to kids at one program. So he’s already counting up multiple recruiting violations.
Welcome to DI dude you shouldn’t be pulling that crap. Not shocking though as he came from a different division. Don’t think that will put him on the hot seat just yet but that administration will have hawk eyes on him for sure.
