Don't care for those too much....looks like those need a John Deere logo instead. I like the Celtic style uni's myself. Tim
IMO if you're going to do hoops then make them wide hoops so as not to quite so obviously be copying Celtic/Sporting/etc. The Timbers tried the Celtic copies a few years ago and they were not well received IIRC, though I wasn't in sumptown yet by then.
I actually agree. I think they look like shirts Staff would wear. But someone mentioned halves so I did it.
I would NOT buy one of these. I thought it was terrible when Barca went to this style. What about the vertical stripes that Lyon has? Can we get a look at something like that?
yes, Lyon have historically had vertical stripes ... I can do some with that kind of thing tomorrow ... but for now:
IMO, the best looking jerseys in this thread so far are the ones that used green and white as the main colors while adding only a little gold.
This is my favorite so far, I like that shade of green more than the one on the logo too, the logo green has too much blue in it.
I know I'm a neutral, but I really like the halves. I have a Sachsen Leipzig jersey that's actually on that Nike template and it is superb.
The best so far, IMHO. The cross/quarters theme is great and will be unique in our leagues. I'd like a miniature version of this jersey to hang in the hallway at home.
The best of the bunch, IMHO, of course. The crosses are good, too, but this one is simple looking and sharp.
http://i776.photobucket.com/albums/yy41/footballer2015/kaizer-chiefs-nike-40th-annivesa-1.jpg Kaiser Chiefs released their 40th anniversary kit today and I instantly thought of AC STL. I could see the top with green as the main color and gold as the accent color with white shorts. In this pic yellow is too dominant. Maybe someone better than me can make a mock-up of these. Rep coming for the one that does!
I didn't work very hard at this, but someone had mentioned vertical stripes like Lyon had a few years back... Not the greatest quality, but just something I threw together.
I really like this one (except for the parts on the side that make it look like someone is holding your from behind.)
My mind is still blown as how people say we can't wear this or that because we'll look like this team or that team. Unless we go out on the pitch in full battle armor with pope hats on, pretty much anything that's designed or thought if will look like someone else's. You could go on for days. Also, I'm not wearing a giant green cross on a white shirt. So, I personally hope upon hope we don't look like a bunch of Irish Catholics.
LOL, that's actually on all of the Canterbury shirts ... it's one of their "things" really, almost like an extension of their logo .... they have the three dots on each side of the shirt like that.
Since I proved to be such a prophet on the name issue, i'm going to stay with the exact same jersey idea that i had way back in 2007 as well. (side note: holy shit, we've been talking about this since 2007!)
